Tozando was founded in Kyoto in 1989 and makes and sells martial arts equipment and clothing. A Kyoto trip can be a chance to discuss equipment in store, alongside sightseeing and time at the villa. You do not need to practise martial arts to stay at Hiei Villa; shopping and any budo arrangements are separate from the Airbnb accommodation booking.
東山堂は1989年に京都で創業し、武道具・武道衣の製造と販売を行っています。京都旅行の際に店舗で道具選びを相談し、観光や別邸で過ごす時間と組み合わせていただけます。武道をされない方も宿泊できます。お買い物や武道に関する手配は、Airbnbの宿泊予約とは別です。

Nishijin and Shogoin are different locations in Kyoto. In the Google Maps examples checked on 1 November 2026 for departure from the villa at noon on 10 November, Nishijin was 11.3 km and 24–40 minutes by car, while Shogoin was 9.0 km and 18–26 minutes. Check the official store guide for current hours and the store best suited to your enquiry. Build time for fitting and discussion into your day.
西陣本店と聖護院店は別の場所にあります。11月1日に確認した、2026年11月10日12時の別邸発の予測では、西陣本店は車で11.3km・24〜40分、聖護院店は9.0km・18〜26分でした。営業時間やご希望の商品を相談する店舗は、公式店舗案内でご確認ください。試着やご相談の時間も予定に含めてください。

For a planned equipment visit, email your preferred date and store, group size, martial art, items and sizes of interest, fitting needs, and any embroidery requests. The store will need to confirm stock, processing time and collection arrangements. A travel enquiry does not reserve products, guarantee a discount or confirm delivery before departure.

Share your dates, headcount, discipline, experience and budget so that accommodation, store visits and any training possibilities can be considered together. Larger groups may need several accommodation options rather than the villa alone. Studio use depends on reopening and availability. Overnight stays inside the studio remain a future plan and are not currently bookable.
